Testimonials
"Paul is one of those advisors that is talking from experience rather than from a textbook. These events will save most people a fortune." - Managing Director at Arated.com Corp. Ltd.
"Paul was highly recommended to us at Onedox whilst we researched fundraising options for our business. After an initial consultation session we could see Paul's knowledge about fundraising was both in depth and up to date, which is crucial given the fundraising landscape changes so quickly. As importantly, Paul is very personable so we knew that in the months to follow we would be able to get along well.
We ultimately decided to undertake a crowdfunding round via Crowdcube, and Paul provided invaluable help as a mentor for us. He provided a framework to ensure that we were well prepared ahead of the launch of the campaign, and regularly throughout the campaign he provided calm advice, challenged our thinking where appropriate, and provided insights about how to maximise the campaign's effectiveness. Our campaign was very successful. We hit our minimum raise in less than three days, before overfunding the campaign, hitting our stretch goal of £550k and closing the campaign early. Paul was an integral part of that process and I cannot recommend him highly enough." - Co-founder at CEO at Onedox
"I first attended Paul’s ‘How to find the right investors’ workshop at the British Library. This course adds massive value and I highly recommend attending it as a first step. Paul then supported me through the arduous funding journey by helping me to create a standout pitch, getting the business funding ready, finding the right investors and crucially increasing my confidence in our business proposition and deal. Within 3 months I had found an incredible lead investor, pitched at the London Stock Exchange and had 7 other investors vying to put in the remaining funds. I’m so grateful to Paul for the continuous support and excellent advice and guidance, it made the whole process a joy." - Radha Vyas, Co-Founder at The Flash Pack
"I just thought I'd let you know I used your tools from both courses to write a brand concept and business plan for a hairdresser client in five days, which resulted in raising over £2m of start up funding! Sadly it's not my own personal project (it needs four times as much) but it was good practice/trial run." - Owner at Girl Friday Consulting
“A fantastic course! Having taken personal coaching from Paul I would definitely encourage anyone to take this programme. Paul's unique insights have been invaluable to our progress in setting up a funding drive and he continues to be a goto source of advice and guidance to our startup.” - Your10
“My business partner and I had a fantastic coaching session with Paul in advance of our crowdfunding efforts. He helped us work through the main investment challenges and advised us on some potential pitfalls. Paul also delivered a fantastic talk at a recent Escape the City event. He talked entertainingly and informatively about "How to Fund Your Startup" in front of an eager audience of eighty people. He's also an extremely nice guy.” - Co-founder at esc
“I can thoroughly recommend Paul for his execution skills in raising private finance for a wide range of businesses. He possesses an excellent insight into the needs of entrepreneurs and deal structure. He adds significant value to his clients through excellent advice and guidance.” - Senior Commercial Manager, HSBC Bank Plc
"Probably one of the things that made Paul's presentation so useful is not that he has been there and done it (he has) but he generally steers clear of technical speak and simply tells you the steps involved in gaining funding." - Ian Kaye, Business Consultant, Charity Through Action
“For me, Paul is one of the few reliable and affordable sources of information around on funding startups, a "game" which few UK entrepreneurs ever manage to win. His recent shift in emphasis towards bootstrapping is a pragmatic response to the increasing funding difficulties all start-ups face. Recommended!” Director of Nanodome Ltd "Paul has a wealth of experience behind him, not to mention a host of useful contacts and potential speakers. His well-rounded approach makes the event well worth the outlay." - Business Training News "If you're looking for help with funding and have not been on one of Paul's programmes then I recommend that you put that right asap." - Director Savex ESL Limited "Paul puts together highly valuable content that brings clarity to important matters for anyone trying to build a fast growth business. I highly recommend Paul's events. Valuable insights and sound advice from someone who has been there and is now on the other side." - Natasha Hussein, Initial AF Data Gatherer, FFCS PPI, Deloitte LLP “Paul is hugely knowledgeable about the whole field of start-ups and raising funds. He is a fount of good advice – both down-to-earth, street-smart advice and advice on a broader, more strategic level. I would highly recommend him.” - Director of Thinking at Think Inc. "Those 'Starting your own business' books are right - starting your own business can be a daunting and lonely place to be. However, to a significant extent, not so much if you have one Paul Grant in your corner." - Owner at Shinaii Limited "I just wanted to email to say "Thank You" for a really, really helpful meeting last Friday morning. It was great to talk through everything with you and to plan for the next stages of growth for the business. I am very excited about getting everything on the 3-6 month Action Plan (Holy Grail!!) underway." - Owner Studio E2R "I' recommend Paul Grant. Super-knowledgable business advisor and instructor. I attended the 'Funding For Fast Growth' workshop - a great training day that helped me in all of my entrepreneurial endeavours. Paul's one-page executive summary template remains the single best material on executive summaries I've come across." - Product & Biz Development at PleaseCycle | Class of 2014 at New Entrepreneurs Foundation "That was SO helpful. Best £45 I've spent this year. Look forward to some one to ones!" - Founder of Disobedient Management
“I have now been to two of Paul's excellent business seminars and also found his one-to-one coaching to be incisive and extremely helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul as a business consultant or mentor as I know that his experience, insight and sheer enthusiasm can be of enormous benefit.” - Founder of CleverCarBuyer

After receiving his advice I was much more confident in my ability to understand, source and attract the right types of funding for all my endeavours moving forward."
- Lan Huang "Paul has an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to pitching to Angel Investors. My consultants and interns at the London City Incubator find his presentations very insightful when we work towards investment-readiness for our own projects." - Incubator Manager, London City Incubator
"Paul has a full understanding of what investors are looking for and through his advice I was able to write an outstanding executive summary and improve my business plan, resulting in investment." - Director at Breathing Relief Ltd.
"A great introduction for the uninitiated. Not knowing how to raise funding for an idea and turn it into a reality is a common barrier for not starting a business. Paul Grant provides a clear and concise introduction that not only deals with the starting but also with growing. Its refreshing to find an introduction course that provides idea of how to get started relative whilst looking into the future." - Natasha Hussein
