This event explores the latest crowdfunding trends and techniques for raising capital via crowdfunding; how to avoid the common pitfalls; and ways to discover an approach to crowdfunding that works best for you.
You’ll get the chance to hear from Startup Directs resident Crowdfunding expert and Founder of The Funding Game Paul Grant, who will talk about crowdfunding startups and how they successfully crowdfunded. You will also get an opportunity to ask him any burning questions you may have.
You’ll also get a chance to hear about the highly popular tax schemes Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme / Enterprise Investment Scheme with Josh Knight of The Accountancy Cloud. Having worked for the London-based financial market research firm, BMI Research, a Fitch company, Josh moved to Octopus Investments where during his two and half years there he was responsible for the distribution of a range of tax-efficient investments, namely EIS, BPR and VCT offerings, through intermediary and discretionary channels within London.
